Crimson/orange, very clear and clean appearance. A froth monter lives on top he's off white and a good inch tall.
Sensual floral hop aromas, citrusy, orange, nectarine, very fresh smelling, with hints of malt.
Nice balanced medium bodied mouthfeel, good floral hop, with a hint of orange zest, a sensual elegant malt balances out nicely. Also some other citrusy type of flavors are in the finish. Easy drinker.
I did think the finish left to much of a grainy texture on the palate hurting the mouthfeel.

A: Pours copper or brass and very clear. Medium to full head. Fantastic retention with a fair amount of lacing throughout.
S: Herbal hops are dominated by caramel malts and vanilla spiced undertones. Faintest hint of apple can be found.
T: Interesting! Incredibly it is sweet at the beginning. Caramel is the most dominant flavor. There is some toast in the middle followed by a supurbly clean finish. Hops present but very mellow.
M: Medium to light bodied. Carbonation is less than expected and takes away from my enjoyment some. I think it would improve the lighter notes in the taste more if the carbonation was higher... but that is a personal thing.
O: I always find myself trying to pair light yet flavorful beers with foods. This beer should be your "type O" : IT GOES WITH ANYTHING. Fact: You could drink this at the tailgate or with a fantastic filet... and no one would be upset. A true jack of all trades. Completely drinkable. A must try for anyone who enjoys North Coast.... but not their best outing.
