A- 4 The Pranqster pours a pretty and just clear burnt orange color. There's a minimal head on the pour. There's a fizzy off-white ring of bubbles around the edges of the glass with sparse bubbles in the center. I feel like I can see every bubble that makes up its head individually. It also has smooth, slippery lacing. Doesn't look all that heavy.
S- 4.5 I'm enjoying this aroma of clove-spiced bread (yeast) and floral hops. I get a bit of dark fruit here as well, and maybe a little banana. Very inviting smell.
T- 4.5 Like it was suggested by the nose, there is a clove spice and yeast up front. I definitely get more dark fruit reminiscent of the style in the taste of the Pranqster, and it coats the mouth nicely on the finish. Just a tinge of metallic taste occasionally finishes the drink which leaves it just short of the top for me. That said, this is a very good-tasting ale.
M- 4.5 Pranqster is clean, creamy, smooth and crisp. Yes, all come to mind. It is medium in body and the carbonation is just right.
D- 4.5 I finished this brew too fast... That was a mistake! I want more of it... This ale has a very good aroma and taste and each is well-balanced. I could session this beer for sure. I'd definitely recommend this to try if you can obtain it.
