Appearance: Motor oil they say, but how unappetizing, thick syrupy black. decent head that recedes quickly to a nice lacing.
Smell: Reminds me of the Arrogant Bastard, chocolate, malt sweetness, prunes. Delish.
Taste: First the chocolate hits you, then a little burnt notes then the sweetness of the malt then the bitterness from the hops a little prune, a little alcohol then burnt chocolate and prune in the finish.
Mouthfeel: Creamy thick and rich.
Drinkability: I'm not finished with the first one but ooooh is it good and the stress of my day is melting away, a sipping brew, 2 of these will loosen up an evening for sure.
