Maui Brewing Co. Pau Hana (After Work) Pilsner
serving type: rounded pilsner glass, on tap at Pint & Jigger, Honolulu (January 2014)
A: Slightly strange for a pilsner, but that isn't a bad thing. Bright yellow muted by murky greens
S: Pleasant, light and flowery. Nothing special
T: Fresh, grassy, dandelions, just a hint of earth (maybe nuts)
M: Crisp, perfectly carbonated, slight bite
O: Extremely refreshing, light but full of flavor, and it has just enough bite. Usually Maui Brewing Co's beers lack depth, but this is just fantastic. Word is they will be canning it next year, I can't wait.

On tap at Maui Brewing Company in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii.
Pours a clear very light yellow with a 1 inch off-white head that settles to a film on the top of the beer. Thin rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt/grain, grass, and some fruity grape juice aromas. Taste is exactly like the smell with a mild bitterness after each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp and clean mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good solid pilsener that is very easy to drink.

Only 25 IBU's according to the brewpub board, but it still has a nice crisp hop balance in there and pairs with their pizza quite well. Color is a very pale golden color with some Saaz-like aromas on the nose. Light malt flavors on the palate and crisp hop dryness. Very easy drinking.
