Almost minty medicinal aroma. Very nice. Full balanced malt flavour with a minty hop flavour. Alcohol is extremely well hidden, not noticeable when straight out of the fridge. Not a hop bomb but this is a great tasting beer. I still can't believe that it is almost 12%. Right up there with Schneider Aventinus Eisbock. Fantastic.

A - pours a bright yet hazy marigold yellow color. there is a small white foamy cap with good retention and spotty lacing.

S - Amazing herbal notes. eucalyptus. sage. thyme. lavender. coriander. incredibly unique.

T - notes of dough and bread crust on the tip of the tongue. then an unexpected hop bitterness enters mid palate. the snappy hop bite adds another dimension to the flavor as the herbal and spice notes pepper the palate and linger on after the finish.

M - crisp dry texture. high carbonation. medium bodied.

O - incredibly complex. ridiculously refreshing. one of the most unique beers i have had the pleasure of tasting.

The beer is copper in color with some golden in it. Nice. Hazy too. A lots of floaties (bummer) in there. Nice creamy head thrones on top of it and sticks very well to the glass. Aroma is floral (lavender) with some typical herbs from that brewery (typical of this brewery, I found this in a lot of their beers). Taste is also very floral with a finish that is very very bitter and dry. The bitterness lingers in the mouth, very nice. Full bodied. Warms (alcohol). This is an excellent beer. Strong and tasty but at the same time refreshing.

Another interesting brew from a remote Quebec Micro. This really has their signature all over it, with over-the-top flavours and aromas.

Dark straw coloured and pretty much opaque with some remnants of bottle conditioning dropped into the glass. Looks like a Saison Dupont!

Aroma and flavourwise there is a LOT going on here. Rosemary, lavender, coriander, bay leaves, cardamome, nutmeg... just a spice rack of flavours and aromas that all harmonize to deliver a complete olfactory experience. I'm certain the yeast strain from this brewery has something to do with this as it does deliver unique aroma and flavour profiles. Very tasty as well with all of the above-mentioned spices taking turns along with a slight malt accent to remind us that this is a beer after all. Rich mouthfeel packages all of the flavours and renders a very unique and interesting brew that would pair very well with spicy Indian or Caribbean food.
