Visited with my wife on a recent trip to Indianapolis.
Had the following beers on tap:
Brugge Brasserie Madeline La Framboise (sample)
Brugge Brasserie Belgian Witte (sample)
Brugge Brasserie Pooka Boysenberry Sour (sample)
Outliers Blau Machen Pilsner (sample)
Outliers Buffalo Jacket IPA (sample)
Outliers Whitcomb Rye (sample)
Also had a tasty cheese plate with fruit, nuts, and crostini bread. Beer quality was solid, while service was decent. Our overall experience was good.

Odd spot. Doors downstairs were all locked, directions to use "north" door... which was apparently upstairs? Then after ordering a flight I attempted to sit at a table - all of which were empty - and was lectured that this was "table service" and that I was apparently infringing on someones service area. OK. I just wanted to sit in the sun. Beer selection is small but what I tried was solid quality. I didn't sample the food but it looked decent.

This is probably the most disappointing place I have ever been to. I love Tripel de Ripple but all of the other offerings were horrible. The mood inside was very somber and depressing. The beers for Outlier were as bad as anything I have ever had.

Very good service. Beers were varied and there was a good selection. Food was very good.

About 5 or 6 years ago, someone sent me a Triple de Ripple in a trade. Ever since then, I wanted to visit this particular spot, since the beer was quite nice. Decor is really quite nice, beautiful and quaint. Lots of attention to detail and a very clean and mature kind of place. Service was very nice. Since I was there for lunch I basically had the bar to myself. I talked a good bit with the owners and they are very nice people. Beer was good, although they had more beer from their second brewery, Outliers, than they did for BB. Two guest beers also. I wouldn't have minded a wider selection on the Belgian edge, but there was still plenty to have. Overall a very worthy stop and a visit I have been wanting to make for quite some time now.

I love this place. I actually think the mussels And fries are better here than in Brugge Belgium!

Some great food options- stick with mussels though. One great beer on tap- Pooka. Delicious. Everything else can be hit or miss.

This is easily my favorite beer spot in Indy. It can get a little bit crowded but there's usually plenty of room in the upstairs bar. Brugge brews some of my favorite beers and the guest taps and bottle selection are always outstanding as well. Service is great. The staff is friendly and I rarely find myself waiting for anything. The food is every bit as good as the beer. Especially the crepes. Cuisine is a little bit different from what you might find at most pubs, but there's enough variety for most people to find something that they will enjoy.
This is a must-visit for any beer geek visiting Indy.

This review can be summed up with two sentiments: Triple de Ripple and Mussels. Brugge has a nice atmosphere including outdoor seating with a friendly wait staff. While there is a nice menu, the mussels and classic Belgian pomme frites with various aiolis and sauces are the real winner here.
While there tap list of Brugge beers is typical small, the quality is very good. There is also an impressive bottle list of Belgians, Sours, and harder to find local stuff. It is a bit pricey, but for the quality is a fair deal.
Take a friend, split a pot of mussels and some fries and suck down a couple Triples for me!

I've been to Brugge a few times. They're slow to seat and slow to serve. The food is quite good though. The mussels are amazing and the frites are also quite good. I try not to get too fancy on the sauces. The beers are always Belgian and you can always find one or two of the five that you like. Solid way to spend an hour or more in Broad Ripple.

Atmosphere: Lots of people in a great part of town. Neat art on the walls and soft lighting. Awesome copper tables with holes in the middle to store the cones of fries. Lots of young people ages 21-30 keeping the atmosphere loud and lively.
Quality: Incredible beers brewed both on site and at the main production brewery (under the name "Outliers").
Service: Kind of got a cranky old server.
Selection: Only four Brugge beers on tap and the guest taps contained about 8 others, most of which were brewed by Brugge at their production facility.
Food: Incredible food. The fries are incredible, as well as the homemade sauces.
Value: Food was inexpensive for what you get and the beers were also very reasonably priced for the quality, style, and quantity they give you. I would very highly recommend Brugge Brasserie to anyone passing through Broad Ripple.
