12 oz into mason jar.

A: Pours a nice copper color with a pretty 3 finger ecru head. Nice display while head is still forming. Good clarity. This beer is nice to look at.

S: Rather reminiscent of New Castle's aroma. Caramelly and malty notes.

T: Bitter sweet kinda. thought it was too sweet at first but taste grows on you and it mellows. I get a mild hop bitterness and a light caramelly maltiness. Finishes with a good bitter bite and pretty dry as well.

M: Not too light bodied, but it borders on that.

D: This seems to be a good diner beer. One could have several throughout the meal and be very satisfied.

Pours a clear honey color with a fizzy white head. Little bits of lacing here and there but not much. There's is lots of earth tones in the nose. Picking up dirt, grass, hay, wheat. There is also a nice sweet honey smell that finishes with a lemon scent. The taste is of sweet honey and rough grains. It has a pleasant bitter finish. Mouthfeel medium body with clean carbonation. Nice and crisp. I can't believe I hadn't tried this beer sooner. I loved it. This might be a new regular for me.

Pours a hazy orange with a tight off white head that has average retention with better than average lacing.
Smell: Not getting a lot, it is all subtle. Some soft tanginess and apple and earthy tones and a little malty.
Taste: I get some butterscotch and some malts.
On the bitter side and dry.
Mouthfeel: For me this pretty thin.
Quite drinkable but on the mundane side, especially for a Samuel Smith brew.

A - amber with ok lacing

S- subtle and organic

M-some carbonation and modest , not that bitter
D- easy to drink nothing exciting. traditional simple pub beer

simple, earthy. low abv brew

A: A clear and brilliant light golden amber color.

S: Lightly fragrant floral malt with hints of sweet sugar candy. Nice hop character.

M/T: Lightly sweet and tart upfront mouthfeel with a very minute sour tingle at the tip of the tongue. Solid malty center leading up to a rewardingly flashy crisp follow through. An evenly bitter feel throughout. Complex and delicious.

D: At a 3.8 abv with that complex and full of a flavor, I think this is an excellent session beer...It paired amazingly with a Japanese style paella, harmonizing with the salty sea weed flavors of the dish and refreshing my palate after every drink.

This bitter pours a some what hazy pale or dull orange, little or no head to speak of. Scent is yeasty and musty, a bit floral, lemony. Taste is more malty than yeasty but with same mustiness, and thats not a bad thing. Taste has some caramel notes in there as well. Mouthfeel is clean and crisp. Overall, a decent bitter. This beer needs to warm a bit.

Appearance: yellow with a honey gold color. Great head with a mix of small and medium bubbles. Some lacing.

Smell. Astringent liquor notes. With heavy yeasty notes. Some roasted caramel malts. It has a sour quality. The hops really get overshadowed.

Taste: Sweet tea like quality with powerful honey texture. It feels heavy in my throat. Astringent finish. Lots of odd unmatched flavors. Lacks balance. The hops are bland. I think the use of well water gives it a mineral taste.

Mouthfeel: heavy bodied. Sour finish.

Drinkability: drinkable but probably better paired with a steak dinner.

Appearance - Very nice semi-clear light amber to mostly orange color. Off white colored head. Not a real big head with an easy pour that settled to a nice ring.

Smell - Getting the sweet fruity smelling grape juice hint. Slightly faint grapes however. Maybe even a touch of cranberry juice. Different, but kind of pleasing. A bit of sourness coming through on the nose also.

Taste - I'm detecting the cranberry taste first. Just a small amount of bitterness at the back end. Slightly sour after it sets on the tongue for a second. Very well balanced.

Mouthfeel - Medium to thin mouthfeel. Dry and crisp. Somewhat light, but not real watery.

Drinkability - This is really a pretty good brew in my opinion. It's different from most. I like the change of pace, however I don't think I could make an evening of it.

I poured this one from a 550ml bottle into a mug. The beer is copper colored and clear. The head was tan and fluffy but was gone all too soon and left no lacing to remember it by.

The smells are grainy and slightly floral. Nice balance.

I taste beer there is a bit of sweetness and a tangy bite. Nothing overwhelming, but that seems appropriate.

Tis beer has a light body and clean, nearly neutral finish.

Super-drinkable is my estimation of this true session star.

Poured from a 550ML bottle.

A - Light golden honey in color, got a decent white head about 2 fingers, receded quickly, nice lacing on the glass.

S - Notes of citrus and maybe a little floral, malt is there but very subdued, almost slate like.

T - Dry malt and some citrus come through almost no hops to speak of, a nicely balanced beer, little hint of sweetnes on the after taste.

M - Light bodied, mild carbonation.

D - Is very drinkable, good starter beer to ween your friends off of the mass market beers.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Light, clear amber yellow. Smell light and malty sweetness. Some dry hop crispness. Taste is light with faint malts and and a nice balance between the sweet malts and the light hop dryness in the finish. Good session beer though not much going on.

A dark yellow to a light orange beer with a fairly short lived off-white head. Not clear.

Smells of apricot, apples, pineapple with a soft hint of malt and a bit of spice that shines through.

Crisp mix of citrus and a floral touch. Strong taste up front that fades as the malt comes in going into a pleasant middle and aftertaste.

Pretty mild and fairly thick considering the color.

Goes down pretty easily with a good flavor. Not a bad brew.
