550ml bottle poured into a Bruery tulip.

A - Pours a slightly pinkish orange color with a loose and somewhat quick dissipating white head...leaves a decent layer of bubbles on the surface.

S - Not surprisingly, this smells largely of fresh strawberries, a touch of vinegary sourness. No hint of hops or malt in the nose - all fruit. Does smell pretty darn good if you like strawberries though, which if you are drinking this beer, you probably do.

T - Tons of strawberry in the flavor too. Very up front and strong. Pretty sweet in overall impression with a slightly strange confectioners sugar character. A touch of astringency and a bit of a tartness from the fruit as well. No hop flavor or bitterness to be found and only the faintest of cereal grainy malt.

M - This is really where I get the most of the confectioners sugar thing. This beer has a sweet and almost powdery feel in the mouth. Carbonation is lower than I expected here - plenty there, but thought it would be more on the high end of the carbonation scale. Overall a very sweet beer that leaves a lingering sugary impression well into the aftertaste.

D - Low in alcohol, high in residual sugar content and fruitiness. If Lindeman's made a strawberry lambic, it might be something like this, but they would probably do a better overall job. Strawberries don't seem to have enough tartness to them to make a truly enjoyable beer. This is an interesting beer, but sharing a single bottle of this is enough for me. Glad to try it, but plenty of other fruit beers that are more appealing to me. (1,562 characters)

It is my favorite fruit flavored beer. It really tastes like strawberry. I order it by the case. (96 characters)

Pours light amber with a thin dirty dishwater head.

Smell is quite good with creamy vanilla and strawberry.

Tastes like a blend of those candies that have the wrapper that looks like a strawberry and strawberry ice cream. Sweet.

Smooth body with high drinkability if you like strawberries. A nice summer treat with not a lot of complexity. (343 characters)

First review. Love the bottle, somewhere between a bomber and a regular 12 oz. The smell of this beer is very noticeable, unlike some beers that do not smell like their underlying fruit. This one IS strawberries. Taste was good, but a strong sourness lingered. Not like drinking a lambic. Overall a good fruit beer. (315 characters)

Appearance: high carbonation, 1 inch head, re/orange in color, clear

Smell: strawberries and light toasted malt

Taste: big time strawberries both sweet and tart with a little toasted malt

Mouthfeel: tart and sweet. The sweetness never gets to the cloying level, high carbonation, medium-light body

Overall: This one is a very good fruit beer that screams strawberries. It is both tart and sweet. A great dessert beer, the alcohol is not noticeable. I could have several. (474 characters)

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.

The beer pours a yellow-orange color with an white head. The aroma is strawberry nothing else. The flavor is the same as the aroma. I get a lot of strawberry notes but nothing else. The beer is just as fruity as the Samuel Smith Organic Raspberry, but doesn't seem to be as well executed. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. (374 characters)

A. Peachy caramel with pretty nice head. Looks more like wine

S. Holy strawberry Batman! Reminds me of a strawberry faygo. With a hint of honey

T. Strawberries! No malt or hops. Not my favorite. Tastes more like a sweet wine..

M. Fairly fizzy,acidic

O. This "beer" was tastey but didn't quite hit the spot..maybe if it were a higher proof..If I was to get more,I would find a way to cook with it (399 characters)

When I saw this at my local I thouht the only other Strawbeery brew I've sampled was Melbourn Bros, and a I continued to read the labeled this one is still brewed a Melbourn Bros just it's blended and bottled and Sammy Smith's plant. Appears a brilliant copper amber hue with a big off white tan head forms thick with sturdy flowingcarbonatin. Head sticks around for ahile leaving nice chunky scattred lacing clinging to my La Fin du Monde chalice. Aromatics explode like fresh strawberr jam as soon as I cracked the 550 ml bottle. Smells and tastes like a dessert beer, no real hop nose or breadiness just strawberry flowing fruitines. Flavor is solid not toothache sweet but it would best be served after dinner with a dessert. A mild earthiness and mineral water tone appeas in the finish along with the strawberry tartness going on...nicely balanced experince that I don't get from many fruit infused brews. Mouthfeel is medium bodied carbonation going strong but not overly done. Drinkability overall as stated is better in small portions and for the price I can see why, definitely would go over great with the ladies buy one for grandma on Mother's Day. (1,160 characters)
