What can I say about Taddy Porter that hasn't already been said? This is pretty much the top of the line as far as porters go.
A - Pours black with a lovely tan two-finger head. Held up to the light, it appears more of a dark auburn brown. Lots of lacing as you drink.
S - Dark chocolate, cocoa, fresh roasted coffee, toffee, caramel, and a hint of dark fruit.
T - Unsweetened chocolate, caramel, roasted barley, hints of coffee, cream, and sweet dark fruitiness in the background. A complete porter taste explosion! Seriously, I know of no other porter that has this much flavor.
M - Creamy but not too thick. Light carbonation.
O - Pretty much the perfect dark beer. I am really holding myself back from giving this all 5's, as I am not quite sure how they'd improve it. This is the top of the line as far as craft beer goes.

Pours a nice clear deep chocolate brown with a thin layer of white head. Great retention, looks fantastic after the pour.
Smells like a great light/medium roasted coffee with some hints of cocoa and smoke. Some sweetness is present with tinges of nuts.
Tastes follows up on the nose with an addition of extra flavour. coffee, cocoa and the presence of nuts is reminiscent of amaretto. Lots of flavours perfectly mixed.
Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Very smooth and a bit slick on the tongue while remaining refreshing.
Quite an impressive porter, complex with great flavour and nose. It's a bit thin for my personal taste but that won't stop me from hopefully having it again!
