A finger of sand colored head sits atop a rich brown with ruby noted body. A slow but steady stream of bubbles rises to the top. The head dissipates to a light frothed ring around the top in a little over a minute. There is the light attempt to lacing noted.
Smells of light caramel with rich toasted malt and a little nuttiness. Also getting a whiff of medicinal alcohol that (I know this is likely contrary to popular opinion) smells delicious.
Malt and nuts up front. Light caramel swings in more for the sweetness than anything else. Earthy and gardeny hop flavor shows up here.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied, and I almost want it to cling a little more.
