Swiped this from my in-laws fridge a few weeks ago, and have been waiting for an evening to enjoy it.
Crystal red, with a certain glow to it, bulging from the insides of the glass. The head is like a pancake disc, riding above a pool of black cherry syrup.
Distinctively nutty, adding a depth to the nose you don't often find in a brown - other toffee, butter, raisins, alcohol apparent too.
Ridiculously good - almond-like in its creamy nuttiness. Sugar, toffee, dark bread.
The light carbonation softens everything, while drying the tongue.
I'd love to have this on tap - either way, exceptionally drinkable, especially at this ABV.
