A: Poured from the 550ml bottle into a pint. The gold foil is a nice touch. A dark red brown with nice, 3 finger frothy head that settles to about a finger with rings of lace left on the glass. Very clear and great carbonation.
S: Rounded floral maltyness with a very mild hop. Creamy bread and butter. A sweet roasted/carmelized nuttyness with some pistachio hints.
T: Taste is light but nice. Butter, bread, caramel and fig. Definitely complements the nose. Nuts and a musky caramel followed by a malted, wheat chocolate. A little watery tasting.
M: Mouthfeel is decent, light and highly- carbonated.
A pleasant and very drinkable brown ale.
