Poured from a bottle into a schooner. No obvious best before date on the bottle.
A - this literally looks like the classic tv beer with a light golden color, lots of carbonation and a one finger head that disappears after a few minutes to leave behind some patchy, thin lacing.
S - not a lot to smell, though there is a nice bready malt present
T - surprisingly intense flavors for a larger with a solid hops bite backed with a hint of bready malt and a crisp clean finish. Stays sharp all the way through.
M - nice light mouthfeel with sharp carbonation and a really clean finish.
D - this is probably the definition of drinkability - goes down very well.
A very nice lager from Samuel Smith - has the intensity of a good pale ale, but the light lager body. Very nice beer.
