Halftime of an good Sunday night MLS game (three goals in five minutes). Time to slip in a review.
Poured from a 1 pt 2.7 fl oz bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: Thick, bready white head on top of a pale, crystal clear beer. Thousands of tiny carbonation bubbles moving quickly throughout.
Smell: Grassy smell of a standard Euro lager.
Taste: Perfect "lager" taste. Not sweet and not bitter. A full-bodied taste, not at all watery.
Mouthfeel: I hate to say crisp and refreshing (did I steal that from Budweiser?!), but this beer is crisp and refreshing. Exactly what I was craving today as the weather gets a little warmer. I don't feel a lot of the carbonation and there is little to no aftertaste.
Overall: A solid lager that I would definitely seek out again. I usually like hoppier lagers/pilsners, but this one is a sessionable, refreshing beer.
