Classic pale lager looks: yellow, ultra-clear; fizzy with a tall, white, quickly dissipating head. A little lace.
Light, slightly fruity lager scent. Some powdered sugar, baking bread. Deepest inhales reveal a super faint perfume. No hop, no DMS, no diacetyl. Way cleaner than I expected. Almost too clean.
Sweet grain, with just the exact amount of hop to bitter and balance without adding much character at first. As glass empties, getting a white bread with some leafy hop spice. Always stays very well balanced. Super clean with just enough taste to keep it interesting. And the taste is good.
Super easy drinking beer with some flavor to enjoy without needing to pause to contemplate anything about it. Kudos to Sam Smith's for being organic and pulling off an English Lager. I was pleasantly surprised. This would be ultimate go-to for football parties if money was not a concern.
