A- From the 12oz bottle comes a black beer with just a tiny bit of light coming through the very edges, still appears quite thick. A tan head forms to just over a finger in the tulip with a thick, creamy texture. Nice webs of creamy lace around the glass.
S- Immediately brings me back to making the huge glasses of chocolate milk in my parent's house as a kid. A very distinct sweet chocolate syrup ala Hershey's aroma dominates this beer's aroma. Some roast but this is adult chocolate syrup thus far.
T- A bit more complex than the aroma but still the sweet chocolate Hershey's syrup is the foremost of things happening. Slight maltiness behind that with hints of roast grains, nuttiness and caramel. Just a bit of fruit hints from the yeast. Lactose sweetness is pretty big. Bordering cloying sweetness overall.
MF- Medium thickness and a superbly creamy feel to the body. Very silky moderate carbonation that goes down smoothly without being harsh on the palate at all. Slight roast bitterness.
Reminds me a lot of the first time I had Choklat. A massive chocolate syrup flavor and big sweetness throughout. A bit too sweet in my opinion and the Hershey's syrup flavor is a bit much. Aroma is great, taste is too much.

Sampled August 2013 from bottles in pint glass. This is the first time that I had drank this beer.
Appearance: Very dark color with a nice tan head, and the head lasted a long time.
Smell: There are roasted malt aromas, along with some strong chocolate aromas. The chocolate gave a sweet smell, especially compared to other stouts.
Taste: Full-bodied with great balance of malt, hops, and chocolate. There is a sweet flavor due to the chocolate, but it has an excellent overall taste. The chocolate is more pronounced than most other "chocolate" stouts I have tried.
Mouthfeel: Full-bodied, but very smooth. Very creamy.
Overall: Great stout. I enjoyed the multiple bottles that I drank, and I would buy this again.

550ml bottle: BBD Nov 2013. Poured on 26 Aug 2013 at home into an Abbot Ale glass tankard.
Lovely dark brew: on top a huge tanned crown of foam.
Chocolatey and stouty! Really nice, I like chocolate and I like stouts.
Rich, at times creamy, wholesome and sweet: a very, very good beer. Haven't checked my scores, but this is the best beer I've had from Sam Smith's so far.

This is by far a great great rich chocolaty stout. It's like a Hershey's decided to take a dip in this sea of chocolaty, malty, cappuccino darkness with hints of chocolate milk and cream.
Recommended with coconut macaroons or even a good Greek yogurt or vanilla ice cream.

Beer pours an opaque dark brown, not quite black, but close. Theres a pretty weak amount of light tan head, decent amount of lacing going on.
Smell wise the sweet milk chocolate aroma dominates the nose, can’t pick much else out, but that’s a good thing.
Flavor wise, it’s got a nice amount of lactic sweetness and the chocolate flavor is on the burnt, roasted side of the spectrum. Really sweet aftertaste.
Mouth feel is pretty thick, not chewy like some other milk stouts I’ve had, but its got a decent viscosity.
Overall, an awesome milk stout, I haven't tried too many organic beers, but I would still rank this one really high even if it wasn't organic.

A - Tan head, lots of cling lace, very dark near black body.
S - Outstanding plus for sure. Hersheys syrup mostly, hint of soy, rich and inviting.
T - Taste emulates smell, just not as high volume or prominent. Still awesome.
M - Creamy, nice texture, not cloying but definitely on the rich sweet creamy side.
D - Easy to drink , fun to try. Low ABV so you could have many.
