I stumbled into Leo's today looking for some quality craft beer in my little, uncultured town. They had tons of coolers dedicated to your macros, and malt liquor garbage. After about a minute of browsing I was just about to walk out when the employee asked if I needed help. I told him I was looking for craft beer. He told me to walk into cooler 24 marked employees only. I walked in, and was greeted by the best craft beer selection in Simi Valley. Tons of Ballast Point, Stone, Rogue, Lost Abbey (including Angel's Share), Allagash, etc., etc. I would have snatched up the Angel's Share, but at $17.99 I couldn't pull the trigger. Maybe when I get a bit more ballsy, I'll snatch one up. They had an abundance of Lucky Bastard, Double Bastard (including a 3 liter bottle for $90), and Oaked Arrogant Bastard. This selection might seem pedestrian to other people, but living in Simi Valley, this is a real treat. They also had about a case of Hoptimum, but that also was a bit too pricey for me. I asked the employee if they ever get Russian River. He laughed and told me that everyone asked him about that. He said that they very rarely get Blind Pig and Pliny the Elder. He said that they usually sell out within a few hours after word spreads.

I walked out with Wychwood King Goblin, Allagash Grand Cru, Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier, and Lost Abbey 10 Commandments. 4 beers that I haven't been able to find at our local BevMo. A++

Ridiculously overpriced, as I always travel the country looking for great craft brew locations I found this one randomly. Came in to buy the new 2016 Firestone sucaba to find out they are charging $27 a bottle. This bottle retails for $16.99 which I purchased two at BevMo right up the street for the correct price. I do not recommend this place.

This place is horrible. I was looking for Parabola, and the cashier said no but that they would have Pliny later in the day, as they were locked in the owners office. When I came back the owner said I had to buy 3 other bottle. I heard he does this for all his limited releases as well. Will never go back!

They created a beer cave in the back of the chiller. cool idea/poor lighting. Ask for permission before entering the "Beer Cave". Easy access streets north and south of. Yes, there is a good selection on the shelves, but I have my concerns about light damage and age. One of the employees (owner's son? or family member?) has given me a major attitude when I've inquired about up coming releases and special orders. I've had better success going to Venture Liquor at Los Angeles Av and Sinaloa(a half of a mile away) or Bevmo at Madera and Cochran (about a mile away). Both of these stores appreciate you patronage, place and hold special orders for you, especially limited releases. Leo's Liquor charges over double on limited releases. I'll only buy phone cards here now.

Visited Leo's today after reading about it on BA. Decent sized liquor store next to the Target. They have lots of wine, liquor, snacks, sodas, and of course beer. Normal BMC and well known imports in the coolers along the back wall. A row of craft beers out on the shelves in one of the aisles. I asked the friendly cashier about any other craft beers and he directed me to a walk in "cave" cooler complete with fake rock pattern tarps in a cooler marked employees only. Everything in stock was of good quality date wise and they had a wide selection of US and imported craft beers. I was able to find some Uinta beers I have been looking for after they started distributing to CA. Other brands I saw were Lost Abbey, Ballast Point, Firestone Walker, etc. Overall, prices were reasonable compared to other spots around CA. A nice place to check out if you're in the Simi Valley area.

Checked this place out recently as an alternative to the Simi Valley Bevmo. Since I work in Simi Valley, this place is something I can check out after work, or on my lunch breaks. Clean place, easy to find, with a good sized parking lot, since it's near the Target. The guy there that day, Nick , (not sure if he was the owner) was cool, said they got new stock in all the time, and he directed me to what he called "our beer cave", which was a walk in cooler, sort of hidden behind the regular coolers. Decent selection, a lot of what I would find at Bevmo, but they also had some more varities from certain Brewery's which was cool, and they had a ton of Hoptimum the day I was there (like 4 cases) when the Bevmo up the road seems to sell out the day they get 1 case, so that was cool. I've also heard they have notice the increase in beer sales, and the increased interest, so they increased their beer stock, and I would have to agree this is not just a typical liquor store, they had some pretty good stock on the shelves. Nothing crazy rare, at least nothing I was looking for, but worth a trip if your in the area, or live in Simi.

I'll be back of course, clean shop, friendly staff, and decent selection.

Nice and clean little liquor store located in the old Kmart shopping center. The guys working there are nice but i don't get the impression they know too much about the beer. The selection is slightly better than your average liquor store in the area. They stock the usual beers from Stone, Lost Coast, Sierra Nevada, Firestone, etc. you probably aren't going to find any special releases, but it's a good enough place to swing by if it's on your way. Prices are in line with what you'd expect. This is one of the better liquor stores in Simi for craft beer, but then again, Bevmo is right up the street.

A great little liquor store with an impressive selection of beer. Yes they have all the macro's you would expect at any liquor store, but they also have about 2-3 fridges dedicated to micro brews. They probably had about 30 or more different 22oz singles. Several brews from Rogue, several from Lost Coast and others. If you are itching for a beer and don't want to make the trek to BevMo, then try this place. They even have a selection of bottles discounted ($1 cheaper than normal) which makes it worth your while to buy those (though I know they have probably been sitting there a while).

Nice little liquor store all around, open late, and the only place to get Rogue beers in Simi Valley to my knowledge. Small Rogue selection, some of the big ones, A few stone offerings, various domestics and imports. Overall pretty good craft beer selection in a city that doesn't have much. Nick, who works late nights is a great guy to talk to. He takes suggestions for beer orders and is proud that the store has the best craft beer selection in all of Simi Valley. Roughly 120-150 different beers available.
