On tap at Popeye's in Tokyo. Midnight black body with a light mocha head that laced well. Good roasted malt aroma, with chocolate dominating. Fine roasty taste, lots of the chocolate, joined by some mild coffee a touch of smoke and some caramel. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel with low carbonation. Excellent drinkability.

Poured from a 330ml bottle into a 20oz imperial pint. Thanks to MsSara for bringing this back from Japan.
A: Dark black with some ruby tints on the sides and bottom of the glass. Two-finger khaki colored head and a bunch of lace.
S: Very nice aromas of chocolate, plums/figs/raisins, roasted malt, brown sugar, and a touch of cherry.
T: Big roasted chocolate malt flavor. That leads into the aforementioned dark fruit and brown sugar (molassas?) flavors. Roasted malt, milk chocolate, and sweet spicy flavors are plentiful.
M: Starts off creamy like a lactose stout, with a bitter, roasted middle, and finishes sweet and creamy.
D: Delicious! And at 5% abv, incredibly easy to session. Too bad it's so hard to find...
