Little place that's easy to miss. Mostly caters to wine and spirits it seems. There is a tiny corner on the right side when you walk in that houses the beer. There are 3 or 4 cools and 1 small rack, that's it. There isn't a lot of beer but the quality of the selection is good. It is clear that someone knows their beer. They only stock the "good stuff" from each brewery, not a lot of filler here. They don't even appear to have any BMC products. It's only craft - good craft.

Definitely stop by if you're looking for something special.

The Cork n' Cap is one of the few bright spots of craft beer in Jackson. Selection isn't the biggest in town but what is there is fantastic. They carry a lot of hard to find beers and special releases you won't find elsewhere. The staff is great from the owner on down. They all are very knowledgeable and love talking beer. The shop also has an average selection of homebrew supplies but there are better shops for homebrew within a 30 min drive.

Took a vacation at Devil's Lake, MI and Jackson was the closest BA approved city; which was about 35 minutes away. I just couldn't find the time to travel another hour to Ann Arbor so Jackson was it for me.

I had two options for Jackson, MI and this place was definitely the quality over quantity store. The only beer they have here is right inside the door on a few small shelves and in a few small cooler doors. Very nice setup in this building, classy and quiet. No prices on the bottles, but they do keep an updated list taped to the wall which tells you how much each bottle is and the discount you get if you buy 6 or more bottles.

Though the selection was way smaller than Super Liquor, they actually had some decent offerings here and not just the run of the mill regulars. I got some Blushing Monk, Devil Dancer, Strawberry Shorts Cake, Life and Limb, Plead the 5th, and a few others that werent available at Super Liquor. It was very nice to be able to mix a six also; which isn't available at Super Liquor. I was able to get a great variety of Shorts here without buying 5 different 6packs. Quality and dating was not an issue here by any stretch.

The man that checked me out was very nice. We talked briefly about the regions homebrewing scene and just the craft beer of MI. I highly recommend you come here first if you find yourself in Jackson. Much more in the name of quality. Also, there was a nice discount added to the check at the end because I got a large amount. If you only go there to get a few things, it will be a bit costly; if you get a lot though- the prices are much much cheaper here!

The place where I buy most of my beer. Like others have said, it can be hard to find. Its mostly a wine store, with only 3 coolers. However; the beers that are offered are top notch. Trappists'? Check. mMchigan brews? check. most of the top 50 on this site? check. Want a hard to find beer? you go to this place. They don't even sell bud or miller. Owner tells me he had picks all the beer here, as he is an avid beer drinker and wine drinker. Its the ONLY place in Jackson that sells trappists. Go here if you're in the area. 99% of beer stores wont carry what he carries.

Definitely look up directions before you look for this place. I found it! The place looks crappy on the outside (probably due to the area of town), but inside is beautiful. Wood floors. The windows are darkened to help save the wine and beer. This place is mainly a wine place, but also has grains, hops, and kits to make beer. The selection of beer is awesome. I picked up a Dark Horse Double Tree IPA, Keenewenaw Brown Ale, and a stone product. I like the fact that you can pick up individual bottles, rather than spend a bunch on a sixer. I didn't ask the gentlemen any questions, as he was helping out a guy buying a crapload of wine. I'll definitely visit this place again.

Edit-took the selection grade down a notch. Once I visited another local store, I realized that the selection is not as great as others in the area, but still above average.

I stopped in here during my stay in Jackson. The gentleman was very courteous over the phone helping me find the place, as I passed it a few times.
Quality of everything was nice and fresh. Seems to be mostly a wine store with a few coolers of Michigan brews, out of state micro's, and imports. Considering everyone I asked in Jackson asked me why I would want a micro-brew when I could get some Old Milwaukee at the local store, this was a diamond in the rough. I picked out some Dark Horse, Bells, Dragon Mead, and a few others. I inquired about Kuhnhenn stuff and he called the brewery to ask about distribution right then and there. That's what I call service.
I got 4 mixed 6'ers for around $30. Not bad. If I did that around here, I would get less than that for the same price.
