Cool place here. Really hidden, good name. Small, two levels with the bar on the bottom level and a foosball table, dartboard, and big screen on the second level. 5 beers offered, 3 wines, and a mead. Selection when I came included an IPA, Pils, ESB, Red, and a Stout. The Stout was the best with the Red being number 2 for me. The others were unique but still decent. The mead was quite dry but I liked sipping on it. The brewer/owner/bartender was a really cool guy and quite good at what he does. I'm looking forward to more of their offerings. Definitely worth checking out. Also, its right next to a hot tub place. A few beers then a tub, sounds like a relaxing night to me ;-)

Here's my take on the beers they offer, no notes were taken so no reviews yet
ESB-too blueberry tasting for me, gets annoying
Red-sweet but very good, I liked it a lot
Stout-Awesome roasty and dry, great beer
Porter-Thinner, chocolatey but not that great
Weizen-yeasty and funky fruity flavor
IPA-good, odd color but nice fruityness as well, gets old after a pint
Pilsner-really good hop strike, i liked their pils a lot

Old Hair of the Frog space. Opened by a guy who used to brew at Big buck in GR.

Very small, somewhat out of the way place on GR's Northside. Hlaf the building is a rental hot tub place and the other half is the bar/brewery. Small 5-barrel system behind glass next to the bar area. Bar seat about 10 comfortably. Beers served from kegs in a cooler with a tap system. There is an upstairs loft above the beer that serves as the smoking area and game room with some occasional mellow live music.
Bare bones establishment with no food at all.
Basic list for a start with a nice surprise of the Hazelnut Stout for a starter. Opening line-up was a Pilsner, a Hefeweizen, and IPA, a basic stout on regualr and nitro tap and the Hazelnut. Not a bad beer in the bunch, no real standounts to me either. Stouts were the best of the bunch and the beer is well made and its obvious brewer has done this before. Give the palce some time and might be a nice little out of the way place to have a few beers in anonymity. No smoking in the bar area which is nice.
