My old neighbor from Oswego gave me a bottle of this. It poured a slightly hazy yellow with white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had grass like flare. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp grass hop presence. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a decent pilsner.

Covington Pontchartrain Pilsner
12 oz. brown glass bottle
Unfortunately Covington's Pilsner is a fairly average craft brew that could probably be confused for a blonde ale. It looks alright, but not great, and it just doesn't have a pilsner aroma. I find neither pilsner malt nor noble hops. In the aroma it's slightly floral and slightly grassy/lemony but the malt doesn't shine. In fact, as the flavor reveals more fully, the malt is fairly dull, and a bit too sweet. Had it been labeled differently I'd certainly give it a higher recommendation, but as a pilsner (Czech, German, or other) it lacks finesse and balance. Otherwise, basic and drinkable (especially cold) but unremarkable.
