Transparent copper color with a medium thick light tan head. Good lacing througout. Smell is sweet and honeyish. Some floral and lemon characteristics resides under the sweet honey. Flavor begins with a clover honey lightness. Not too sweet but strong honey characteristic. The depth and body of the beer gives more of an earthy and pale malt flavor. A touch of caramel in the back with the estery floral notes coming through. Light honey flavors maintain themselves throughout. Finish is actually drier than expected with only a hint of honey and more bitterness at the very back. The cask works wonders here providing a medium creamy body where the flavors are all restrained yet come out nicely. Very easily sessionable.
