Had this at Pratt st Ale house down in Baltimore.
A rather ordinary beer. Light in color, too light for a pale, and a small white head.
Aroma was bland and mostly malts. It took some real effort to detect any hops.
Taste was actually pretty good but it was thin and watery.
I am disappointed with this one.

Pours a clear golden color. Light floral/pine aroma. Average, not much there.
Taste is pale and crystal malts with a small hops bitterness towards the finish. Usual flavors for an English style pale Malty, medium body. Slightly gainy yet smooth drinkability. Finish lingers around a bit. Not quite as good as the other beer I sampled at Pratt Street, 3 Spires.

My waiter told me that this was the IPA, I believe he was mistaken.

Beer is a pale ale, yellow mostly clear whit a white head, small and medium bubbles, some lacing, moderate to low carbonation.

Aroma is yeasty with some piny hop, earthy hop notes.

Beer is medium in body and has a nice finish. Moderate, probably about 40 IBU beer overall. The beginning is mildly malty but overall quite nice. I enjoyed this beer but I would definitely call this a pale ale not an IPA.

To hell with Soccer stars, sell outs.

A: Ironman pale ale is an English pale ale, served at the Wharf Rat. The ale is golden, clear with a stream of carbonation.

S: The nose is bready with an herbal hoppiness. The aroma is English, plenty of toffee and hops.

T: Chewy, the pale ale has plenty of hops underlying it. Ample breads, thick and meaty, support the hoppiness. The beer is a pleasant sipper, equal parts malt and hops.

M: The mouthfeel is sweet like Chrisiano Ronaldo, or Ronaldo in the charity match. A nice pale ale.

D: A nice Imperial pint, chewy and hoppy throughout. Too bad its named for a baseball player, huh? #8.

From 07/28/10 notes. Had on tap at Paradiso in Georgetown, DC.

a - Pours an amber color with 2 inches of fluffy white head anf light carbonation.

s - Smells of bready malts and sour dough. Also some citrus and grain.

t - Tastes of bready malts, sweet and sour fruit, and caramel malts.

m - Medium body and high carbonation.

d - A decent APA that with a little less carbonation would be very easy to drink. Nothing crazy really stands out about this beer but another solid beer by Olivers.
