Served in a stange at ChurchKey.

This Oliver guy is pretty egotistical... The brew pours a clear amber topped by a finger of white micro-foam (possibly the largest, fullest head I've gotten on a cask beer in a while). The nose comprises parsley, greens, hoppy florals, and something my notes refer to as "bad egg". Hm. The taste seems to overcome this, with notes of ginger, sharp orange rind, pepper, oregano, grass, and flowers. The body is a light medium, with a very low carbonation and a slightly syrupy feel. Overall, a decent brew, an interesting cask experience, but not something I think I'd ask for again.

Had on tap tonight at Churchkey in DC.

a - Pours an amber color with one inch of white head and light carbonation evident.

s - Smells of dark fruits, caramel malts, grain, and bready malts.

t - Tastes of bready malts, wheat, caramel malts, and citrus.

m - Medium body and low carbonation. Pretty easy to drink.

d - A decent beer from Pratt Street that was very easy to drink. Would give another shot.
