Not a bad brewpub to check out, especially since it's so close to where both the Orioles and the Ravens play. It's in a fairly old looking building, that has a semi-antique interior with old beer bottles, cans, and glasses on several shelves. There are separate bar and restaurant areas. I dined in the restaurant section, and enjoyed a crabcake sandwich with my brews. It was very delicious. The beers I had were both of their cask beer selections, which were both solid. They had about 8-9 other of their own brews on the beer menu, as well as some good microbrew and import selections. The service wasn't too bad, except I had to wait a few minutes for another beer though, with our waitress just sitting there twiddling her thumbs ten feet away. The food came out very quickly, even for how empty the place was (we had an early dinner). I really liked this place, and I look forward to going back and trying some of their other beers.

Stopped here before a concert at the Royal Farms Arena. Really good vibe, with pretty good food... Service was just so-so. Thinking I caught them on an off night with service. Probably the go-to spot if your heading down to the arena

Not a bad place to drink if you are in the Baltimore area. Service was a little slow when I was there but the bar was packed. The selection is decent and the food was pretty good. Worth a stop in if you have time to kill.

Watch out for bronies! A My Little Pony convention that was happening across the street sure added a little oomph to the area, and indeed the Pratt Street Ale House. Tables spilling out onto the street, and nearly all tables full. The ale house is large, and there is a second floor which me and my brother were taken to. Even on the second level, multiple rooms were found, giving each area its own feel rather than a single large potluck of drunks. There was even a small bar near us! Great activity going on inside and outside, and it looks like little has changed with the cosmetics since its opening.

I knew that I was coming for a good time based on its beer menu. Many of the beers are based on the British tradition, and there were 14 listed (but out of two). It's hard enough to find mild ale or bitter, so I was thrilled to find both styles being brewed here. In addition, there was an Irish Red, English Porter, English Strong Ale, and Oatmeal Stout brewed in house. I had the mild and bitter, and both light ales had enough flavor to keep me drinking without bloating me. To top it off, several guest taps were welcome to the scene (Bells, Unibroue, Yards, Southern Tier, DC Brau).

Crab mac n' cheese....yum. It came in a very generous portion too. Matching the food was the service, which came at a good pace, and plenty of checking up on our statuses.

Well, that was worth the hour drive from northern Virginia, now let's go back. But wait, there's more of Baltimore to see!

This place was pretty good, but it made it difficult to enjoy their beers because they were out of 6 of the dozen or so that they offer. Luckily I was able to try the Ironman Pale Ale, which was pretty tasty. Wish I could have tried their Draft Punk IPA though, or the Wheat Ale they offer.

On a business trip and wanted to stop in a cool Gastropub. Great location - right outside of the Convention Center and not far from Camden Yards. Had a real nice selection of craft beers, both local and out of town. To eat, had the crabcake/chicken sandwich. Cool creation and really enjoyed it. Staff was really nice but something did not click. There was a good amount of staff but always felt I needed to wait on everything. Wait for beer order, wait for beer, wait for meal, and wait for check (10-15 minutes after I asked for it). Really were not overly busy to justify. I would go back.
