Served in a sniffter. Dark black color with a thick, soapy mocha head that disapates slowly.
Very defined coffee aroma mimmicing a nice cup of joe. Hints of spent coffee grinds, some bitter chocolate aromas with toasted grains.
A quick shot of sweet buttery toffy flavors with bitter chocolate notes to follow. An onslought of espresso flavors come on strong. A bit much in my opinion. Slight bitterness fades to a toasted hazelnut flavor with a alchol sensation.
Drink is true to the style, big chewy body with modest alchol burn in mouth.
This offering earned its respect as being in the top 100. Best as a desert brew. Drink suffers a bit from the dominate coffee flavors, but worthy.
