A- An inky black that lets no light pass. Nice frothy bown head, good retention. A very fine looking beer.
S- A very deep roasted malt, coffee and not much else.
T- Hits like a ton of bricks. Coffee, deeply roasted malt. Very heavy on the black malt, so much so that it's bitter. The alcohol, can't really hide in this beer either.
M- Thick and oily, alcohol is definitely perceptible.
O- Overall a good beer, although it's a bit over the top.
Interesting that they've added coffee. I think that kicks it out of the stout category and puts it into the 'specialty beer' category.
