This is one of the most complex smelling coffee stouts I've experienced. Quality roasted bean smell is expected. But the vanilla, cream and hit of...well I'm not sure what it is a hint of. I thought bourbon barrel. Drinking this beer reminds me of a favorite coffee drink. A smooth special dark roast, vanilla, a splash of real cream, chocolate sauce and a kick of whiskey. I wanted a square of cake. It all comes together so well.
Mouthfeel is thick and creamy.
