11.2 oz bottle into a tulip glass. I was surprised that this was a twist off bottle. Two numbers were notched, a 4 and a 5. The numbers go from 1 to 9 so I'm not sure what the significance of that is.
A - Dark, dark, dark black body. Foamy mocha head that gives off some nice lacing.
S - Coffee. Extremely high quality coffee. Faint hints of sweet vanilla, chocolate, and roasted malts. The coffee really does dominate the aroma, which isn't a bad thing at all. This is the best coffee aroma I have ever smelled in a beer before. I could wake up to this every morning...
T - The mouth feel is so silky and smooth. Lots of vanilla, sweet milk chocolate, roasted malts, and that amazing coffee. High abv is noticeable in some warming, but doesn't detract from the beer.
O - This isn't the best imperial stout I have had. It is the best coffee beer I've had though. Simply world class.
