Got on sale at Bobby's liquors in Santa Clara, CA in 12oz bottle.
Served in a Lucifer goblet.
A - Beautiful espresso color with a thin but beautiful copper head. As I drink it bright amber bubbles hug the walls of the glass.
S - Smells of espresso laced with a malty sweetness hidden somewhere inside.
T - Taste is also of fresh espresso. Nice bitter cacáo notes as well. Classic blend of sweet and bitter.
M - soft and round on the fore-palate leading to a bitterness on the way down that does not overpower.
O - well worth its spot in the BA top 50. Very drinkable and the 9.5% ABV is well masked and feels just right.
