Poured from the bottle into a pint glass...
A: Poured pitch black with a two finger thick, creamy beige head that dimpled as it settled down. Great lacing...this is one fine looking Imperial Stout.
S: Sharp deep roasted espresso coffee with some nice dark chocolate the background. Earthy hops with just a slight malt sweetness.
T: Deliciously roasted bitter espresso, dark chocolate, bitter hops, some delicate minimalistic sweetness waaaay in the background. Dry alcohol finish.
M: Slightly carbonated, full bodied, silky cream smooth...
D: My wife is trying to steal this right from under my nose. This is drinkable for the style and for the alcohol content...if you get it for a party, it may be too heavy for most casual beer observers, but that would mean more for me...
