Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a Sam Adams perfect pour inscribed glass. 6.xx per bottle, DAMN!!
A= black and light is inpenatrable through this beer. Mild head, nice lacing, carbonation bubbles flowing up from Aphrodite's pool of passion!
S= insanely awesome, really the best part of this beer IMHO.. Milky chocolate, pure vanilla bean, deep but mildly malted, a desert beer ready to be enjoyed!
T= first the milk chocolate, then your brain perceives creaminess, but wait... The vanilla pops in, the the beer goes a little thin, and the bitterness walks up to the front stage! strange that I felt creaminess, but then thinness all in the same swig. Finishes off slightly dry and slightly bitter, but leaves you with the impression of a deep richness since that is what is first perceived.
M= give the mouthfeel a 4.5 since it is two different things in one sip. Not bad pulling that one off. Creamy smooth, then thins out followed by slight bitterness at the end, if you know hops, then maybe you will pick some up here... drink slowly and get mild prickly on your tongue.
D= 4.5 this is great, excellent, creamy, thin, bitter, dry, chocolately, vanilla~y and finishes with a roast bean flavor. I have to say though, the aroma before each sip IS the best part of this beer. They nailed aroma, and even if this beer sucked, the aroma would make you think your taste buds were fucking with you. You'd think "how could something that smelled so good suck"???? It must be my taste buds are off.... Haha that is how awesome this aroma is! I could easily drink 3 of these in a night, followed by a peche mortel, then a black raven IPA, then hit the sack!

A-Pours nearly black.
S-Dark chocolate and sweet vanilla. Impressive vanilla actually. Roast and java. Bitter cocoa powder.
T-Bitter and sweet chocolate. Makes me think of milk and dark chocolate. Vanilla bean. Vanilla a bit softer here. Medium coffee notes. Finishes sweetly roasty.
M-Medium bodied. Velvety feel. Softer bubbles.
O-I enjoyed this one a bunch and the sample has prompted me to grab a bottle in the near future.

11.5-ounce bottle poured into a stout glass.
Appearance: Pours a near-black with a short tan head. Lacing minimal.
Aroma: This beer has an attractive set of aromas with black coffee, dark fruit, cocoa, vanilla, coffee beans and dark chocolate all represented.
Taste: This is a tasty, complex beer - the taste is close to the nose, with roasty black coffee accented by cocoa and vanilla the dominant theme.
Mouthfeel: It's also not as thick and sludgy as I had guessed. It's very drinkable.
Overall: A beer to seek out. The complex flavor makes this a unique stout - it's full of flavor, and very distinct. A great beer to dip, savor, and enjoy.
