[Picked this one up at Julio's for 4.95 for a 11.5oz bottle]
Amber with a definite rosy tinge and pinkish head that lasts for a good bit and laces. Looks appetizing. Smells like ripe strawberry rhubarb pie with some maraschino cherries except more herbal and slightly medicinal. Fresh and lively aroma for sure. Smells a bit like my wife's cranberry sauce., but I can't tell you what strange herbs or spices she puts in there.
Flavor is smooth and light-bodied, but not weak. Fresh and fruity, bright and refreshing. Not really like any beer I have had before. I love the herbal notes, as they meld perfectly with the other flavors that are there. I keep thinking rhubarb for some reason, as it is a deeper flavor here than I'd expect from an herb or flower.
Really easy drinking and interesting, this is one exciting beer. Although I am sure geography has something to do with it, I keep thinking that the smooth melding of fruity flavors and healthy carbonation reminds me of some Unibroue products. This is great.

12oz bottle in Duvel tulip
bottled on 2/14
purchased at La Duchesse in Quebec City
A: A shocking pink color with a very thin white head with touches of pink, lots of pink here :)
S: A hint of fruit (cherries?) and some spices, there might be more, but I have been fighting a head cold
T: Cherries and flowers with a light spice in the background, my first thought was a fruited saison, but there is a distinct wheat breadiness that doesn't quite go with a saison. The subtle spicing is a nice touch, not at all overdone, complements everything else nicely.
M: Round and yet crisp at the same time. I think the malts are providing the roundness and the high level of carbonation helps it feel crisp.
O: I like but don't love this beer. I think it is more me and the style vs. the quality of the beer. In fact I think this is a very well made beer and is probably a homerun for the style. I could easily drink a couple of these on a hot summer day. Nicely done and worth trying.
