Bottled May 2013

Beer is clear golden. Small white head, gone very quickly. Some lace.

Smell is pleasant but faint. Sweet malt and honey. Clean.

Flavour is pretty basic. Some sweet bready malt, biscuit. A bit of honey, slight spicy flavours. A bit of fruity hop flavours, but not strong.

Light to medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Chewy. Refreshing.

Overall, this is a nice rendition of a style that I do not have much of a taste for. Pleasant and refreshing, not exciting. Strikes me as a great beer to introduce people to tastier beers to!

On tap @ Dieu Du Ciel in Montreal, Quebec on 5/30/2013.

Cloudy yellow ale with a medium white head. Biscuit malt aroma with some slight spice infused into it. No lacing on the glass and not much retention but a quick swirl revived it. Slightly bitter with some yeast lingering in the aftertaste. Fairly drinkable but nothing outstanding about it. A good option if you like blonde ales.

A creamy, hazy golden sunshine. A thin white head with no lacing.

Aroma of biscuit with pepper.

A complex taste that is oaky, grassy and peppery. A rich maltiness integrated with the bitterness of the hops under the delicious taste of Belgian yeast.

A slightly chaulky and oil feel but smooth and rich.

Very flavourful for a blonde ale. Smooth and drinkable

Appearance: It has a nice cloudy golden/yellow color to it. It has a thin white head that dies down somewhat fast and leaves some lacing.

Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of bready and buscuity malts, crackers, some citrus, grains and some honey.

Taste: Like the aromas, it has a some sweet bready malts, crackers, honey, light citrus and some graininess.

Mouthfeel: It has a medium carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel.

Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied with good flavors and aromas.
