Sampled at VT Brewfest.
A-Awesome! Looks like cranberry juice. a tiny slice of pink froth. Love the looks.
S-Puréed raspberries. Tart, young raspberries. Underlying wheat and non-fruit funk. Natural! Just a bit restrained in the nose but it still smells delectable.
T-Raspberries, both ripe and tart. Natural flavor. Akin to the nose in the best way. I need 40 more samples. The Berliner aspects aren't completely washed away either.
M-Light, quenching, crisp. Very drinkable with a fruit juice feel.
O-One of my most sought-after beers at the festival; actually one of my more sought after beers. Raspberry Berliner Weiss! Oh yes. An absolute stunner. Exceeded rather high expectations.

A: Really raspberry red, even a pink head to boot. Retention is somewhat minimal but lacing isn't bad. High carbonation is visible.
S: REAL raspberries. nothing artificial smelling here. Deliciously tart smelling.
T: Raspberries and more raspberries. Tart even bordering on pretty sour. Good beer base that highlights the fruit. Not overdone and it doesn't taste like a wine cooler as some poorer fruit beers do. No artificial tasting either which is a departure from most of the sub par fruit beers I've had. Hops are minimal as are bitterness letting the fruit really shine and take on it's true fold, unmuddled.
M: Nice carbonation leaning towards the higher side. Moderate to thin body.
O: This is a fruit beer i can get along with. Not that overly chemically, artificial mess that fruit beers usually end up as. Recommend to someone who believes fruit beers are a boring style as i once did.
