On draught at WVRST for the DDC party. Into a tulip. A SMaSH pale ale, featuring the calypso hop varietal.
Murky orange body, with a white head. Moderate retention and good lacing. Nose has citrus, mostly orange and clementine. Light tropical notes. Some light pale malt character, but nothing too notable in that regard. Taste has quite a bit more in terms of tropical fruits, some citrus zest. An herbal bitterness, somewhat drying as well. Medium carbonation and body. Good fruit flavour, a straight forward SMaSH beer.

Orange body with an eighth of retained head, and substantially lacey. A good bitterness, with an IPA level of IBU. Average mouthfeel. Good drinkability, something I could have frequently and use to transition others. On tap at WVRST.Calypso hop is tasty, although not the top of the pack citrus hop.
