As far as Canadian IPA's go, this is THE best. So fruity, juicy, citrusy.

bursting with fruit - apricot, grapefruit, citrus, orange peel, melon, bitter Fanta, grape juice, hints of Belgian yeast and spice and with just enough malt to balance it out. Big, bitter and fruity - delicious

A-Golden yellow color with a white head that dissipates quickly, there are traces of hops or yeast in suspension
S-There is an earthy aroma, similar to grape must, there is also a hop lingering smell
M-Carbonation is substantial, I personally prefer a little less, but thats me.
T-The bitterness hits hard and lingers, and lingers, quite enjoyable, but you need to really like and appreciate IPAs to want more. Not much of a sweet balance for the hop bitterness.
O-This is a very nice IPA, quite bitter and not for the feint of heart, I recommend to IPA lovers.

App : Golden orange, hazy with two finger of a soapy head that die down into a thin film. Pretty much what you would expect for the style.

Nose : Grapefruit, tangerine, citrus rind, stone fruits, resinous tree sap, pineapple with a bit of cat pee and malt in the back. Very citrusy and tropical.

Taste : No suprise here with big grapefruit, tangerine, citrus rind and fresh citrus juices , slight peach and mango, piny resin and herbal bitterness in the finish. The malt is very subtle as it should be for an IPA and leave the floor for the hops to shine.

Bottom line, this is an excellent beer. Quickly becoming one of my go to ipa along with Yakima from Le Castor. It pretty much hits all the right notes for an IPA. Highly recommanded, good value for the price too. You cant go wrong with this one. Cheers!

Picked up a few weeks ago in Montreal, shared with rudzud.

Pours a decent fluffy fizzy head, semi hazy golden honey color.

Nose is decent, plenty of hops, resin, citrus, touch of pineapple and tropical like notes, faint sweet malt with candied orange peel.

Taste is semi sweet, candy malt notes, with more candied orange peel, little citrus, faint tropical pineapple like, juicy fruit, etc. Big bitterness that ramps and gets a bit spicy on the back end. Little sticky on the finish, more candy malts and orange, faint grapefruit.

Mouth is med to a bit fuller bod, nice carb.

Overall pretty nice, but there are def better ipas out there.

Thanks to JLindros for sharing.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice lightly hazy light lemon hue with a thin head that fades to leave a thin blanket and very light lacing.

S - Aromas of light citrus, grapefruit, oranges. Good malt notes, light lemons, really pleasant.

T - Taste is nice similar citrus, good grapefruit, oranges, light sweetness and malts with not much alcohol noticeable. Really clean and bright, bitter finish.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, crisp, easy drinking.

O - Overall this beer was tasty, good citrus notes with nice malts.

A fantastic American style IPA brewed from our Quebec friends. One of my favourite beers as of late. A hoppy tangerine and grapefruit kick, but not over the top. A balanced brew with the right amount of carbonation; present, but not powerful. This is great stuff.

341ml bottle from Brewdog's Online Shop (£3.25):
Amazing, that's probably the best word to describe how much I enjoyed this beer from Dieu du Ciel and The Alchemist, it was everything I was hoping for given how well both of these breweries are usually rated online and Moralité definitely wasn't anything other than an excellent beer and one that I'll be hoping makes it back to the UK at some point in the future given it seems to be brewed on a rotating basis in North America. A truly great beer and one that is well worth looking out for, it's been a while since I've tried a better IPA.
