A - Poured copper with a strong and long lasting two finger head.
S - Not able to pick out to much, Malt and some faint hops.
T - Nothing jumps out at me but it has a hop bitterness and some herbal notes.
M - Medium body and carbonation.
O - While I don't drink much Goose Island "craft beer" I saw limited release on the bottle along with a hops from elf mountain farms, seemed interesting. Turns out Elk Mountain Farms is Anheuser-Buschs hop farm. Another example of a macro brewer pretending to be micro. I should have know better.

Fresh tasting pale, almost an IPA in flavor. Nice hoppy flavor and a little boozy for 6.2%. I like it.

First beer of the day.Bottled on Nov.7 2013.Pours into a nonic a rich clear brass color with a billowing sticky one finger white head atop, great color and head.Aromas of grassy and leafy hops with a hint of sweet caramel malts.Leafy and mildly citric hops at the onset of the palate that don't really linger, light sweetness from caramel/biscuit malts. Not a complex APA but not bad,I would have liked more hop complexity but again not bad.

12 ouncer, bottled on "07NOV13"

Pours typical looking almond amber, near clear with bubbles rising, light tan head, stays nicely and leaves better then average sheeting and strands of fine lace.

Moderate hops on the nose with an underbelly of whole wheat malt.

I'm feeling the presence of balance in this beer. Hops yes, malts yes. Tasty and enjoyable beer yes. Touch of pine and resin in the hops and caramel in the malts. Hops have teken control of the finish.

Nothing amazing, just a well crafted, easy drinking brew. Respectable take on the style.

I could drink this one all night long.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.

Appearance: Copper with a thick white head that lingered. Heavy lacing on the glass.

Smell: Light citrus, hops and earthy notes.

Mouthfeel/Taste: Very smooth medium bodied. Taste of mild bitter hops with hints of sweeter citrus.

Overall: Very good beer! Definatly would have this one again.

Serving glass: Poured from bottle into Nonic Pint.

Appearance: Clear copper with good sized off-white head and light lacing.

Smell: Somewhat hoppy in an herbal and citrusy way. Some grainy malt notes of the toasted and biscuity variety.

Taste: Strong malt backbone of grainy, toasted and slightly bisuit-like malts. The hops are pretty evident, especially at the bitter, spicy finish, with citrus, herbal and earthy elements.

Feel: More full bodied than most Pale Ales, and it has a nice dry finish. However, it is still grainy like a standard Pale Ale, so the fuller body is a slight distraction.

Overall: Another solid Pale Ale to enter the American market. Solid enough, but probably not really needed.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a tall pint glass. Bottled on November 6th, 2014.

Appearance: Pours copper orange with a moderate amount of bubbles. Big two finger off white head which settles into a thin creamy layer.

Smell: An earthy and floral hop forward aroma with hints of grass, pine, and caramel. Upfront earthy and floral hops with hints of grass and pine resin. Light citrus hints of orange, lemon, and grapefruit. Pale malt with hints of caramel, grains, biscuit, cracker, and yeast. A pretty decent smell.

Taste: Like the smell hints at, an earthy and floral hop forward pale ale taste with notes of grass, pine, and caramel. Floral and earthy hops with some upfront notes of grass and pine. Light citrus notes of orange, grapefruit, and lemon zest. Balancing pale malt presence with notes of caramel, cracker, grains, biscuit, and yeast. A nice hoppy taste.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Juicy, crisp, and pretty smooth.

Overall: A decent take on a pale ale. Nice earthy hops upfront with a solid caramel malt backing.
