2013 bottle served at 55 degrees.
A: Motor oil, lightly carbonated. Interesting surface tension like crude oil.
S: Raisins, bourbon, molasses, alcohol.
T: Tobacco, bourbon, and brown sugar. Noticeable alcohol. A bit of chocolate later.
M: Chewy oil. Coats the throat on the way down.
O: Exceptional, though a bit hot/raw at this time. I believe this will improve with a bit of cellar time. I will try my next bottle in 6 months to a year.
Serving type: bottle

July 2014. On Tap at Rattle n Hum. Better than a extra Birthday that doesn't shorten your life span. As a matter of fact this adds so much pleasure to the day, it's like doubling down on this particular 24 hours. At 15%...Hey, WTF...I'm on board.
02/21/12 From bottle. Rattle n Hum, NYC. If this was the only brew in the world I would not be unhappy. Been drinking it, whenever possible, for years & even with the switch to Budweiser It's still a superb brew.
Serving type: on-tap
