An amazing example of a category style. Bourbon County will leave it's mark as an exceptional beer.
A = The liquid is the color of a darkly charred barrel, the foam and lace appear with a dark complexion similar to well used and aged rope.
S = There are so many things going on here! Let's start with the enticing scent of rich and musky bourbon (served straight from the cask) melded with overtones of coffee, chocolate, hazel nut, and light citrus.
T = A fair amount of carbonation tickles tha palate as the thick rush of oily bourbon, coffee, and nutty chocolate explode on the palate. Decently high ABV warms the mouth and throat and the bourbon finish lingers a long time.
M = Solid and warming with bold flavors and aromatics on the finish.
D = A delicious quaff that will have you reaching for a second glass. All "destination" here and meant to be savored slowly as the beer comes closer to room temperature.
Two mugs up from the BeerKing!
