From notes 12/17:
A: Ink black color with a small head. There is little to no retention and zero lacing.
S: Things start to get better real fast. Bourbon woodiness, with heaps of chocolate and dark toffee bread. It is quite the booze bomb, but the roasty quality of the brew really kicks in to pull it out in the end. Smells great.
T: Crushing wave of bourbon, wood, dark roast, chocolate, hint of vanilla (phantom). It is as boozy as the nose suggests, but it manages to push through the considerable heft with a malty goodness.
M: Slick and full bodied. This is a sipper for sure.
D: One is enough. Great beer that is extremely satisfying.
Serving type: on-tap
