Bottled on April 10th 2014

A - Pours out a beautiful hazy golden yellow with a one finger white head that dissipated rather fast(I wish it lasted longer.) Leaves great lacing and legs.

S - Spicy notes like a typical triple, bready, slight citrus, sweet, no alcohol detected.

T - Citrus up front then is switches mid palate on the back end to the typical triple flavor. I also get some of the spicy hops in here which linger on the palate. Has a slight alcohol burn (not bad for 9%).

M - Medium bodied and really soft in the mouth. Very pleasant.

O - This beer seems like a winner with a complex flavor profile like it says on the bottle. I like how it has little to no alcohol in the flavor. Not your typical triple with a twist of citra hops has definitely peeked my interest in this beer. I'm not a huge triple fan but this one has me wanting more. Nice job Goose Island, cheers!

A very nice Belgian triple ale from Goose Island. Pours a clear golden with light white head and light white lacing. Nose of banana, clove, citrus, Belgian candy, fresh bread, light hops, and alcohol on the nose. Taste is delightful, nice Belgian candy up front, banana and citrus fruits on the back, some lemon grass herbal notes, and a light hop and clove flavor on the aftertaste. Nice mouthfeel, well carbonated and sumptuous. A hair overboard on the hop and clove for the style, but still nice without being a Belgian ipa in style.

Served from a bottle into a pint glass. 6/22

Pours pale golden colored, little haze, touch of white foam on top. Sweet candi sugar nose, light yeast strain. Lighter taste, sneaky hop, touch of citrus. Fruity. A little spicy too. Full flavored, nice blend. Well made.

12oz bottle, bottled on 16APR14
L - hazy and golden with plenty of carbonation leading to a persistent rocky off-white head
S - fruity, yeast, citrus, floral, biscuit, grass
T - floral, citric, biscuit, yeast, zesty, faint tea leaf, fruity esters come out as it warms. Decidedly Belgian with added American hops; almost like a Belgian IPA for flavor
F - medium body, effervescence makes it feel fuller, creamy, modest bitterness, and a fairly dry finish. Alcohol is very well concealed
O - nice take on a tripel with some added citrus and zest from the American hops. I'd have this again anytime.
