355ml bottle served chilled in a Sierra Nevada shaker pint
Pours with lemony yellow body, little bit of chill haze noticeable. Centimetre high white bubbly head forms, settling down to a few millimetres of whispy white. Small bubbles of lacing up and down the glass
Smell, musty malt, a few sticky euro hops, fresh grass. The yeast aroma is similar to alot of german lagers actually, dry and spicy
Taste, initially crisp biting chewy malt, some slight hop bitterness, slighly musty once again with a dry almost barnyard character on the finish. Fresh grain and malt, some sweetness and spicy citrus.
A solid kolsch, probably perfect for a hot summer's day. Sadly its 12°C here in Belfast, cloudy and dull however that said its still pretty tasty and very refreshing
