Bottled 8/27/14; drank 9/27/14 @ the Yarchives.
Clear red/orange hue.
Big eggnog head; a curtain of lace.
Soap & mild grapefruit nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Soap, pine & mild pineapple flavors; not my profile for the style but nicely balanced & nice for the fall.

Nice color. Balanced on the nose between malt and hop. Mild coffee in the aftertaste, bananas up front, and extremely mild hops. Not much of an IPA, and I'm missing the bitterness most are talking about.

A pretty good utility beer. A bit harsh to have more than a couple at a time. I appreciate that they tried to make this a hoppy beer. At the price, I'd happily buy more and enjoy them at the lake.

A: Amber in color, good head and lace that lasted
S: Flowery hops.
M: First impression is soft, less of the bitter IPA I've come to expect but still there.
T: Exactly in the center of the IPA pack. Bitter yet balanced, with a fruity finish. Maybe there could have been a bit more flavor at the end.
O: I liked this one. Better than their Honkers, maybe my new standard for Goose.

Pours a reddish rust brown color with caramel running through it and a 1/2" off white head. Aroma lacked dry hopping or whatnot. Still had those pine and red malt feels.
Taste has more of a earthy than sweet red malt. I guess this is an attempt at a red ipa, but it isn't as good as some of those highly hopped red ipas like Lagunitas makes, this is more in line with their normal ipa hopping levels, which aren't that big in the first place. As a result, it does tow the line between a traditional red ale and a more Americanized highly hopped version.
Carbonation is moderate, and the finish is more clean and chalky toffee. I dunno, if you ever had their regular ipa and thought, wow, this English style pale ale could use some more malt, then maybe this is your kind of beer.

Poured into a tulip glass. Pours caramel amber here with decent collar that lasted well. Very strong nose here of caramel, earth, pine finish. Tastes good. Strong body and strong aftertaste. For a limited edition, full bodied and cute. A nice find from the Beer Store in Ontario.

Citrusy, hoppy and bold flavors while also being very refreshing. Well balanced n not too bitter. Smell isn't distinct but is clean with some nice floral and citrus notes. An amber red color with moderate head (that's what she said). Not much to dislike here. Has a bit of a dry hoppy caramel taste. Really solid IPA.

From the bottle, it pours a coppery amber with a modest head, eventually reducing to a thin layer and ring. Caramel malt and a touch of hops in the nose. The mouth gets the same. Nice!
