My bro, Gray brought this over for me to partake. The bottle says it is from Fort Collins, CO and he thought that I might have had it on my brewery tour vacation. No, but let's try it.
A: Poured a 12 oz. bottle with a bottle date of 26 March 2013 into a pint glass and got 1 1/2 finger of head that settled to cover the top of the beer in the glass to the end. Pours a golden orange color. Nice lacing. This beer is about 4 3/4 months old.
S: Not too much but mostly floral and some citrus.
T: It is smooth but not a lot of taste. It's mild on the hops for an IPA. Finishes with a taste of pine and resin. The aftertaste of resin is the big part of this beer and why it is an IPA.
M: Average carbonation, smooth, easy to drink.
O: Not a bad beer and one I could recommend. That being said, it's not one of my favorites and for this style there are a lot of better options. I would drink it again, though.
