A: Opaque black with a subtle ruby highlight at the bottom of the glass. Thick and creamy mocha colored head. Great looking stout!
S: Roasted malt, toasted oats, toasted bread crust. very melanoidan rich. I also get fresh wheat bread and a nice yeasty character
T: Roasted malt up front with and then a malty sweetness creeps in. There is a floral fruitiness in the background and a present hop flavor. There is a metalic bite towards the end
M: Slick mouthfeel as is typical with oatmeal. Roasted malts dry this beer out
D: pretty good oatmeal stout. Dry finish lends itself to drinkability, the metallic and hoppy flavors kind of distract from the maltiness I was expecting
