Paid $13.99 for a growler at The Party Source in Bellevue, KY...
The beer pours a clear slighly amber tinted golden base, a medium head with long lasting retention and minimal lacing on the glass. The aroma hints a cafeteria of blends: light hops and lemon, wheat, yeast, malts, with a real sweet finish at the end, very pleasant on the nose.
The taste is full of flavor, first starts easy on the mouth with moderate carbonation, a sweet malt taste to start with a lemony aftertaste and excellent finishing by cleansing the mouth dry. Mouthfeel is perfection and at 7.0% I knew this growler could provide a happy session for one... but hey... don't be greedy and spread the wealth!
Final Thought: What a treat on tap this one is! Goose Island should be proud to call this an American micro brew, this is clearly their best to date!

From a bottle into a pilsner glass. 5/21/14 is the date
A: the best part about this beer. It's a golden orange color with a thin layer of thick head and whisper lace on the glass
S: slight aroma or hops and orange peel
T: follows the smell right down to being slight.
M: light on the tung. I can see this being great on a hot day
O: a bit disappointed with this one. With the reputation goose island's rare and mainstream beers has. I was hoping the less popular would still be really good.
