A: Darkish brown in color with tinges of orange. A nice frothy head with a respectable cascade of bubbles coming up. Retained its head pretty well.
S: Grainy (yes, rye), and pinecones, grass, offset by some candy caramel sweetness. Not bad, but nothing spectacular.
T: The sourdough, tart, grainy flavors win out over a light line of maltiness. Straightforward piney finish. Decent.
M: Potently carbonated (still a nice layer on the top), but almost too aggressive. A bit watery.
D: It's fine and good, but not really all that inspiring. The bottle will go nicely with my collection, but I won't snatch up more when I see it again.
