Poured into Russian River glass on 1/7/12.
Pours a dark brown but with a significant amount of clarity almost like some one switched my beer with a Coke. Nice big effervescent cream colored head that dissipates quickly leaving a moderate lacing. Nice look I like it.
Smell is subdued but pleasant. Aromas of dark fruit and sweet roasted malt. Good.
Taste is much the same add in some carmel and almost a little chocolate flavor.
Mouthfeel is light and has a slight bite on the front of the tongue.
Overall this is a good mild ale and a nice beer to have on a cold winter night.
