The head of this beer has a very modest character. Poured a thin, dark head the color of wet sand. Left a speckled lacing around the glass. NO color escapes this beer.
Estery grapefruit introduction, which is succeded by something much more pungent: like burning rubber.
Sweet, chocolatey, and alcoholic. More like espresso than coffee, the sweetness is there but is blitzkrieged by bitterness. Alcohol is hidden well, very little burn, but still produces a strong flavor in disguise.
Actually sticks to your mouth after a few sips, and very filling.
I'm having trouble finishing this one glass its so heavy, but the bottle will go down smooth cause its so good.
